Sumi Prasad

Sumi Prasad has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Starting in 2015, Sumi completed a summer internship at Deloitte India. In 2016, Sumi joined S&P Global Market Intelligence as an Investment Banking Analyst, where they were responsible for meeting accuracy and timeliness KPIs for M&A data. They also worked on a global fintech project. In 2018, Sumi transitioned to the role of Data Associate and later Data Researcher-II, handling post and pre-deal support for M&A transactions. They worked closely with cross-functional teams and formulated SOPs for scalable operations. In 2019, Sumi joined smartSense Consulting Solutions as a Data Scientist, BI Developer, and Product Analyst. They gained 5+ years of experience in building machine learning models and data visualization solutions for different business verticals. In 2023, Sumi started working at Dyne as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Sumi Prasad has a diverse education history. In 2022-2023, they attended Georgian College and obtained a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a post graduation degree in Management with a specialization in Corporate Finance and Data Analysis at Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies. In 2009-2012, they completed their high school education at St Xaviers High School. Preceding that, from 1997 to 2009, they obtained their secondary school certificate at St ANN'S HIGH SCHOOL.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sumi Prasad holds several certifications. Sumi has completed the "AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Machine Learning Foundations" and "AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations" programs offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023 and December 2022, respectively. Sumi has also obtained the "Build and Operate Machine Learning Solutions with Azure" certification from Coursera in April 2022. Furthermore, they have acquired the "PowerBI Developer" and "QlikSense Data Architect" certifications from Udemy in October 2021. Additionally, they hold a "Data science Prodegree" certification awarded by Genpact in January 2019. Lastly, they have completed the "Mergers and Acquisition Module (NCFM)" and "Financial modelling" certifications offered by the National Stock Exchange of India Limited in April 2015 and August 2017, respectively.
