Amit Luthra

Amit Luthra, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Dyne Therapeutics since March 2023, specializing in bioconjugation, protein production, and structural biology. Previously, Amit held the position of Principal Scientist at Magenta Therapeutics, focusing on antibody-drug conjugates and purification techniques. Amit's experience includes a role as Senior Scientist II at Flagship Pioneering, where immunogen engineering and protein purification were key responsibilities. As an Assistant Professor at UConn Health, Amit led a protein core team for vaccine development and optimized production capabilities. Earlier academic roles included an Instructor position at San Diego State University, where Amit was involved in various biochemical and structural characterization projects, and a Senior Researcher role at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Amit holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a PhD in Structural Biology from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
