Kevin McClure has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kevin started their career in 1985 as an Academic Supervisor at the Language Institute of Japan. Kevin then worked as a Contracting Writer and Editor for Pearson Prentice Hall from 1995 to 1999. From 1991 to 1999, they served as an Academic Director at ELS Language Centers, where they supervised the teaching staff and directed curriculum development. Following that, they joined GlobalEnglish Corporation, where they undertook roles such as Senior Learning Specialist, Development Editor, and Learning Services Coordinator from 1999 to 2010. At EF Education First, Kevin worked as a Senior Development Editor from 2010 to 2012 and as a Managing Editor from 2012 to 2016. Currently, they are associated with DynEd International, where they have held various positions since 2016, including Senior Courseware Designer, AI and Assessment Lead, and currently as the Director of Assessment and Content Development.
Kevin McClure earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in European History from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 1970 to 1974. Kevin later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Applied Linguistics at the same university, completing their studies from 1980 to 1984.
