Prior to this role, Jason worked as a Senior Permit Engineer focused on dam safety at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources from November 2005 to July 2015 and gained experience as a Civil Engineer Trainee at Patrick Engineering in 2005. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (2002-2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (1995-1998), along with studies at Hope College (1993-1995).
