Imran Arain is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance and reliability management across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Reliability Manager at Dyno Nobel since November 2022, Imran previously held the position of Head of Maintenance Department at Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance activities and managing a multi-million dollar budget. Prior roles include Lead EIC Engineer at Jemena, where Imran managed electrical and instrumentation activities at gas plants, and Lead ISBL Operations / Start-Up Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, focusing on operational and commissioning activities at the GLNG Facility. Imran began a career in engineering with a role as Senior E&I Engineer at WorleyParsons and holds two Master's degrees in Electric Power Engineering and Engineering Management from UNSW and the University of Sydney, respectively.
