John Flynn is an experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the US Turnaround and Capital Execution Manager at Dyno Nobel since July 2012. In this role, John oversees the turnaround and capital project groups for four nitrogen business manufacturing plants in North America. Previously, John held positions at Dyno Nobel as a Senior Project Manager and Capital Project Engineer, where John managed project engineers and facilitated initial project planning for capital initiatives. Prior experience at DuPont from June 2001 to February 2011 included roles as Engineering Supervisor, Turnaround Coordinator, and Operations Manager, where John focused on safety improvements, production operations, and successful maintenance outages with substantial budget responsibilities. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s in Business Administration from West Virginia University.
