Fehmi Damkaci

Fehmi Damkaci currently serves as the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the Center for Doctoral Studies and Research at D'Youville University, overseeing multiple doctoral programs and leading initiatives for research support and program development. Previously, Fehmi held various roles at the State University of New York College at Oswego, including Chair of the Department of Chemistry, where responsibilities included managing a large department and securing significant funding for various STEM initiatives. Academic experience includes serving as Full Professor and developing graduate programs, alongside teaching a range of chemistry courses. Fehmi's educational credentials include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland and additional executive education from Harvard Business School.
