Alan Down

Alan Down has extensive experience in software innovation and connectivity, currently serving as the Director of Software Innovation and Head of Connectivity at Dyson since March 2000. In these roles, Alan leads a team that develops the next generation of connected technologies, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and scientists to create products that resonate with customers. Prior to Dyson, Alan was the Software Development Manager at Great Mills Retail Limited, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of a Store Management Solution. Alan holds a degree from the University of Plymouth.
