Feng Xiao

Feng Xiao is a Senior Sensing and Perception Engineer at a Stealth Startup since October 2024, with previous experience as a Senior Robotics Research Engineer at Dyson from March 2022, focusing on enhancing sensing and perception in domestic robotics. Prior roles include serving as a Robotics Researcher at Imperial College London's Aerial Robotics Laboratory, where research centered on bio-inspired sensing and control for Micro Aerial Vehicles, culminating in a publication on collision prevention. Feng also contributed to educational initiatives as a Teaching Assistant and engaged in a UK EPSRC funded project on aerial additive manufacturing, developing prototypes for autonomous 3D printing with aerial robots. Feng holds a PhD in Aerial Robotics and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London.
