Gilbert Gan is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading security architecture and engineering initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Global (Group) Head of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering at Dyson, Gilbert revitalized the security team during a critical period and significantly enhanced security across enterprise IT and operational technology domains. Prior to this role, Gilbert was the Head of Security at Crypto.com, where strategic development of a global information security program was implemented in a challenging multi-cloud environment. Over a decade at SGX, Gilbert held several vice president positions, including leading security design and engineering, defining cybersecurity strategies, and establishing an in-house Security Operations Centre. Gilbert’s earlier roles include positions at BCS Information Systems and Avanzare Solutions, where foundational security governance frameworks and risk management programs were created. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University and a Diploma in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
