Rakesh Karna

Rakesh Karna serves as the Country Director for dZi Foundation since October 2022, overseeing the development and implementation of programs focused on inclusive community development. Prior to this role, Rakesh held the position of Executive Director at the Center for Policy Studies & Governance and Deputy Chief of Party at Abt Associates, providing strategic guidance for governance projects and adaptation to COVID-19 contexts. Rakesh has extensive experience in public policy and governance, having worked as a consultant and held leadership roles in various organizations, including Pact and Political Parties of Finland for Democracy. Rakesh holds a Master of Arts in Governance & Public Policy from The University of Sheffield and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
