Katie Thompson

Katie Thompson has a diverse work experience in the technology and engineering fields. Katie started their career as a Graduate Associate Engineer at Parker Hannifin in June 2007 and worked in that role until May 2008. Katie then transitioned to the role of Design Engineer from May 2008 to June 2010. From June 2010 to April 2020, Katie worked as a Project Engineer at Parker Hannifin. In June 2020, they joined Mercury Systems as a Program Manager, where they worked until May 2023. Currently, Katie is employed as a Program Manager at DZYNE Technologies, starting in May 2023.

Katie Thompson pursued their undergraduate education from 2002 to 2006 at Stanford University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they continued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, completing their course from 2006 to 2007. In 2010, Katie enrolled at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2021.
