Lead UAV Integration Technician III at DZYNE Technologies

Kurt Hermes has worked in a variety of roles since 1986. Kurt began their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, where they performed troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to F-14A/D aircraft. In 1997, they became a Recruiter for the US Navy and earned the honor of "Excellence in Recruiting" as one of the top recruiters in the Southwest Region. In 2001, they became a Shop Supervisor and Quality Assurance Representative for the US Navy, where they supervised a staff of up to 30 Aviation Electricians, managed four naval aviation programs, and supervised five Quality Assurance Representatives in the tracking and completion of over 218 program audits. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at DECA Construction as a Project Manager, managing construction projects and acquiring materials. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at URS as an Aircraft Mechanic and Phase Coordinator, coordinating and performing major inspections on MH-60S helicopters. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been working at DZYNE Technologies as a Lead UAV Integration Technician III and an Avionics/UAV Technician II.

Kurt Hermes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Technical Management from DeVry University from 2013 to 2014. Kurt then attended Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Project Management degree in Business. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies from Vincennes University from 2011 to 2012.
