Thomas Tran, PMP

Thomas Tran, PMP has extensive work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Thomas began their career at GKN Aerospace in 2012 as a Manufacturing Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Process Engineer. From 2017 to 2021, Thomas worked at Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC., where they served as both a Program Manager and a Project Engineer. During this time, Thomas successfully managed various programs and projects. In 2022, Thomas joined GKN Aerospace again, this time as a Program Manager. Currently, Thomas is working at DZYNE Technologies as a Project Manager. With their diverse experience and PMP certification, Thomas Tran is well-equipped to handle complex projects and deliver successful results.

Thomas Tran, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2011, Thomas achieved the Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) certification from Dassault Systèmes. Thomas then obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC in 2018. Finally, Thomas obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Program Management Institute in December 2020. These certifications demonstrate their expertise and knowledge in various areas of project management and engineering.
