Fuzel Choudhury has a strong background in education leadership. Fuzel began their career in 2015 as the Principal of Rockwood Academy, where they successfully led the school from "Special Measures" to a "Good" rating in just 7 months. Under their leadership, Rockwood Academy ranked 82nd for progress in the country in 2017. In 2017, they moved to E-ACT and took on various roles, including Regional Education Director and National Director for Secondaries. Fuzel is currently serving as the National Director of Education at E-ACT, a position they started in July 2020. Fuzel's achievements include leading Heartlands Academy to be the 6th highest performing academy for progress and being recognized with national awards for Best Secondary School and Overall Best School based on summer 2019 results.
Fuzel Choudhury began their education in 1992 at the University of Warwick, where they pursued a BSc in Chemistry. Fuzel completed this degree in 1995. In 1996, Fuzel continued their educational journey at the University of Nottingham, where they obtained a PGCE in Education in 1997.
