Ulrik Falkner Thagesen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Ulrik is currently the Group CEO at e-Boks, a secure communication platform that has expanded its services and geographical presence since 2017.

Ulrik is also a Board Member at North Media A/S since 2020 and a Mentor at Copenhagen Fintech since 2019.

Ulrik was previously a Board Member at Basisbank A/S, the first 100% internet-based bank in Denmark, and has been part of the 150 Think tank at Techfestival since 2017.

Ulrik also served as a Board Member at Peytz & Co, a digital agency and IT company, and Asiros, an R&D based food ingredient manufacturer.

Ulrik was a Board Member/Advisory Board Member at Realfiction, a global company specializing in 3D holographic displays.

Additionally, Ulrik was a Nordic CEO at MediaCom, a leading media agency, where they led the transformation of the company into a diversified consulting business.

Ulrik Falkner Thagesen attended Aarhus University from 1990 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Economy and obtained a Cand. Oecon. During the year 1997, they enrolled in Den Danske Reklameskole to study Mediaplanning. In 1994, Ulrik Falkner Thagesen briefly attended KU Leuven for an MBA program and Master Science Marketing. In 2018, they undertook a Board Education at CBS Executive Fonden, specializing in Bestyrelsesuddannelse for bank og realkredit / Board education for Banks.
