Mary Thompson

Mary Thompson has an extensive background in health sciences and emergency communications, currently serving as a Non-Emergency Communications Operator at E-Comm 9-1-1 since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Health Science Professional focused on case and contact tracing at Vancouver Coastal Health from October 2020 to February 2025, where Mary utilized public health knowledge to manage COVID-19 responses. Additional roles include Health Navigator in the Neuromuscular Disease Unit, Public Education Assistant at the Canadian Mental Health Association, and Program Assistant at the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Mary holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of British Columbia.
