Kishan Rao

Kishan Rao has a diverse work experience in the field of radio frequency (RF) engineering. Kishan is currently working at Smartworld as a Radio Frequency Optimization Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Comba Telecom from 2015 to 2022, with the role of Sr. RF Design & Optimization Engineer (Lead-AUH). In this role, they led design and optimization activities for Etisalat Projects in UAE, managed a team of engineers, and was responsible for site acceptance and network optimization.

Previously, Kishan worked at Shilpi Global LLC from 2014 to 2015 as an RF Design & Optimization Engineer (Lead-UAE). Kishan handled IBS optimization for Etisalat Projects and conducted walk tests for DAS coverage validation. Kishan also analyzed network KPIs and made optimization reports.

Before that, Kishan worked at IHS Towers in 2013 as an RF Technical Manager, where they validated tower fitment and conducted new cell site planning using industry tools.

From 2009 to 2012, Kishan worked at VIOM Networks as an RF Planning Lead, where they were involved in GSM and 3G network coverage and capacity planning.

Kishan's earliest work experience was as an RF Engineer at Prithvi Information Solutions in 2009.

Kishan Rao pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Kishan studied at the university from 2003 to 2007.
