Chad Thomas has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Chad currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at E-INFOSOL LLC, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to this role, Chad served as the Chief Security Officer at the same company from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at E-INFOSOL LLC from 2020 onwards.
Before joining E-INFOSOL LLC, Chad was employed at TMC Technologies of WV as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer from 2019 to 2020.
Chad's extensive experience in the federal government includes various roles. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Lead Cyber Security Assessor. Prior to this, they held the position of Network Security Engineer from 2009 to 2016. Chad's earliest role in the federal government was as a System Security Administrator, where they managed and secured a Windows Domain and provided support for OS and network security products from 2001 to 2009.
Chad Thomas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Fairmont State University, from 1997 to 2002. In addition, they have received several certifications in the field of cybersecurity and cloud security. In May 2018, Chad obtained the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)². In May 2018, they also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services. In May 2019, Chad obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Furthermore, Chad has obtained several recent certifications. In September 2021, they became an Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Associate from Aviatrix. In October 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services. Finally, in June 2021, Chad obtained the Pentester Academy Cloud Security Professional certification from Pentester Academy.
