Meital Rannon

Meital Rannon is an experienced optimization engineer currently working at E Ink Corporation, where responsibilities include leading the development of the Gallery e-readers’ experience and optimizing display features through DNN models and algorithms. Previous positions include a research assistant role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where a speech activity detection software module was developed, and a researcher position at Gong.io, focusing on speech recognition improvements. Meital also contributed to CardioKol Ltd. by creating algorithms for detecting atrial fibrillation from speech using signal processing methods. Meital's educational background includes a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. Prior military experience includes serving as a commander in the C4I Corps of the Israel Defense Forces.
