Christopher Light

Christopher Light has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 1996, they worked as an Integrated Auditor for Whirlpool Corporation (Europe) based in Belgium. From 1997 to 2003, they were a Team Leader and Senior Systems Analyst for SETA Corporation, working on projects for USAID. In 2003, they joined the Academy for Educational Development as a Project Manager, Senior ICT Advisor, and Director. In 2007, they became the Founder and C-Level Executive for three startups focusing on Green Technology, Health Technology/Solutions, and Information Communication Technology. Christopher also worked as an Election Judge for Montgomery County Government from 2016 to 2020. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Digital Development Workgroup Co-chair for the Society for International Development, Washington Chapter. Since 2010, they have been the Chief Technology Officer, President, and Washington-based representative for Ogimaa Inc. In 2019, they founded E-Livestock Global and served as the CEO and Founder. In 2020, they founded Startup 5 and currently holds the role of CEO and Founder. Additionally, they are an Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council since 2023.
