Jean-Marc Boumans

Jean-Marc Boumans has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jean-Marc is currently working as the CFO at E-magy, an advanced materials specialist that produces nano-porous silicon for advanced lithium-ion batteries. Prior to this, they worked in investor relations at the Global Investment Fund for renewable energy agriculture and microfinance. Jean-Marc also served as the Director of Business Development at Verder International B.V. and as the Manager of Finance at Paques, where they were responsible for financial management of worldwide industrial wastewater and gas treatment installations. Jean-Marc has also worked as the CFO & Advisor at UCARES Park-Id and as the International Finance Manager at Vebego International B.V. Additionally, Jean-Marc has experience as a Restructuring Manager in Germany for ESPA, a multinational pump manufacturer, and as a Manager in Transaction Services and Financial Due Diligence at PriceWatehouseCoopers.

Jean-Marc Boumans completed their Masters degree in Finance & Management accounting from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 1990 to 1996. Later on, in 2012, they earned a Chartered Business Valuator certification from York University, specifically from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. Furthermore, in 2021, they attended the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education to pursue a course in Financing Water Investments for Water Professionals, which they completed within the same year.
