Abaid Ur Rehman

Abaid ur Rehman has a diversified work experience spanning over two decades. Abaid ur began their career in 1998 as an Internal Auditor at United Business Systems Pvt Ltd., where they developed and executed analysis of various business initiatives. Abaid ur also designed a charter for the Internal Audit function and oversaw audit findings and recommendations.

In 2001, Abaid joined Pak Telecom Mobile Ltd. Ufone as an Assistant Manager of Finance. During their time there, they played a key role in the AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, ERP, and Treasury departments. Abaid ur re-scheduled long-term loans, negotiated interest rates, established and enhanced cash management networks, and monitored offshore and onshore payments worth $650 million to leading technology companies.

Abaid's career progressed in 2007 when they joined Etisalat Afghanistan as Senior Manager of Finance. Abaid ur was quickly promoted to Director of Finance and later became the Vice President of Finance in 2010. In this role, they assessed organizational performance against annual budget and long-term strategies, prepared budget forecasts, and provided critical financial and operational information to support strategic decision-making. Abaid ur also led a team of 5 managers and 60 staff members.

Finally, in 2014, Abaid became the Chief Financial Officer of E-marine PJSC. As part of the executive management team, they played a strategic role in the overall management of the company. Abaid ur was responsible for enhancing shareholder wealth, strategic business planning, and managing and controlling all financial-related activities. Abaid ur represented management in front of the Audit Risk Management Committee and the Board of Directors.

Throughout their career, Abaid has demonstrated strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and expertise in budgeting, strategic planning, and financial analysis.

Abaid ur Rehman is an ACCA Fellow Member and has a degree in Chartered Accountant from ACCA. Abaid ur pursued their education from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of the Punjab. Abaid has also obtained the ASN Compliancy Training 2023 Certificate from ALCATEL SUBMARINE NETWORKS.
