Sergio M. Savaresi

Sergio M. Savaresi is a distinguished Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano, leading the Department of Electronics, Computer Sciences and Bioengineering and heading the Move Research team since October 2006. In addition to academic responsibilities, Savaresi has played a pivotal role in several entrepreneurial ventures as a co-founder of multiple spinoffs from Politecnico di Milano, including YAPE, HMDrive S.r.l., BluBrake, and e-Novia, among others. Since May 2024, Savaresi has served as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for Cefriel and previously held a board position at Estrima Birò. Savaresi's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Control Systems Engineering and dual MSc degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Politecnico di Milano and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, respectively.
