Filip Thon

Filip Thon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Filip started their career at Accenture in 1995 as a Senior Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at RWE Transgas as a Member of the Executive Board in Commodity Management. Filip then joined RWE Polska in 2008 as the CEO until 2016. Simultaneously, they became the Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board at RWE East and RWE Retail from 2011 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Member of the Executive Committee Retail at innogy SE. Following that, they held the role of CEO at innogy Polska SA from 2016 to 2021. In 2019, they joined E.ON as the Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions Central and Eastern Europe. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of E.ON Deutschland starting from April 2021. Additionally, they will become a Member of the Supervisory Board at Hager Group starting in December 2023.

Filip Thon has pursued an Engineer's Degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague). Additionally, they have also studied Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
