Markus Erkes is a Deployment Manager at E.ON Drive Infrastructure since October 2022, specializing in the operation of public charging infrastructures for electric vehicles. Prior to this, Markus served as Project Manager for E-Mobility at Netzgesellschaft Düsseldorf MbH and as Lead Application Engineer at SMS group GmbH. Markus began a career in the electrical engineering field with roles such as Master-Student at ZF Group and Werkstudent at Windscheid und Wendel, building on a strong educational foundation that includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, Markus has practical experience as an Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik at Gottwald Port Technology.

E.ON Drive Infrastructure (EDRI) is a pan-European market leading charge point operator; building, owning and operating public charging infrastructure for all types of electric vehicles. The company mission is to build a sustainable world, by providing charging for everyone, everywhere. Thereby, EDRI makes a significant contribution to decarbonizing traffic and transport.
