Bahij Youssef

Bahij Youssef, MSc, is an experienced Engineering Manager currently leading backend engineering at E.ON Next since August 2025. Previously, Bahij held various roles at Optimizely, including Senior Engineering Manager for Data & ML, where leadership of a 13-member data and machine learning team was undertaken. Bahij's expertise in data engineering developed through significant contributions such as team expansion, the creation of a modern data analytics platform, and a strategic data warehouse migration. Earlier experience includes roles at Western Power Distribution and Energetics, focusing on electrical design and data engineering, supported by a robust educational background in Computer Science and Electrical Power Engineering from Wrexham University, Aston University, and ESILV.
