Mihaela-Daniela Morariu is an experienced Data Scientist at E.ON Software Development since May 2021, with prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at SomProduct, where responsibilities included building a recommender system for an e-commerce platform. Mihaela-Daniela co-founded an award-winning financial peer comparison tool, Nicole, at Raiffeisen Bank International AG, where a minimum viable product was developed in three months, applying data science in creating peer groups based on transactional behavior. Mihaela-Daniela has successfully led regulatory projects and cross-functional teams in risk controlling, while also optimizing interest rate risk analysis through programming. Educational qualifications include a degree in Quantitative Finance from WU, a Bachelor in Banking and Finance from Babes-Bolyai University, and further studies in Deep Learning at Udacity and at SPICED Academy.
