Gunther Falkenhahn

Gunther Falkenhahn is an experienced accounting professional with a strong focus on financial instruments and IFRS standards. Currently serving as Head of Accounting Policies at E.ON since November 2020, Gunther has previously held leadership roles at innogy SE as Head of Accounting Principles and at RWE Group Business Services GmbH as Head of Financial Statements Retail. Gunther's career began at RWE AG, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Expert in Group Accounting and an Interim Head of the IFRS Competence Center. Educational qualifications include a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaft and a Diplom-Ökonom in Wirtschaftswissenschaft from Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
