Oliver Franz

Oliver Franz serves as the VP of European Regulation and VP of European Associations at E.ON SE, a role held since November 2020, alongside the position of Chair of the Distribution and Market Facilitation Committee at Eurelectric since June 2022. With a strong background in regulatory affairs, Oliver has held various senior roles at innogy SE, including Head of Regulatory Services and Regulatory Strategy, and has been part of the regulatory team focusing on topics such as smart metering and electromobility. Previous experience includes positions at RWE, WIK, and ING BHF Bank, where Oliver contributed significantly to regulatory economics and energy markets. Education was completed at Goethe University Frankfurt, earning a doctorate in political science and a diploma in economics.
