Oswald Yinyeh

Oswald Yinyeh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for Statistics at the University of Ghana Legon. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Data & ML Engineer at L3S Research Center. In 2017, Oswald joined Nordcloud as a Cloud Architect, specializing in Big Data. Oswald later transitioned to a Cloud Application Architect role and worked there until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they joined Telefonica, where they held multiple roles including Senior Data Engineer, Senior Data Architect, and Data Platform Product Owner. Their responsibilities at Telefonica included designing an Enterprise-wide Data Mesh Architecture and evaluating data management tools. Currently, Oswald is a Principal Data Solutions Architect at E.ON, starting in 2023.

Oswald Yinyeh obtained a BSc. degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Ghana, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Oswald then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Internet Technologies and Information Systems at The University of Göttingen from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Oswald Yinyeh has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA) from Amazon in October 2017, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon in September 2017, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon in July 2017, and the Hadoop Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn in February 2017.
