Helen S. Kang has extensive experience in event management and content development. Helen S. has worked in various roles throughout their career, starting as a Research Associate at UMDNJ in 2004. Helen S. then moved on to Edgell Communications, where they served as an Event Content Manager from 2006 to 2008.
In 2008, Helen joined McGraw-Hill as a Conference Producer and later became a Sr. Events Producer. Helen S. was responsible for developing and managing event projects, from market research and agenda development to speaker recruitment and on-site execution.
Helen then worked at Aviation Week Network as an Event Content Director from 2008 to 2018. In this role, they strategically evaluated and planned new projects and events, conducted research with industry executives, and oversaw speaker logistics and production.
From 2013 to 2017, Helen served as a Sr. Events Producer at Penton, specifically for Aviation Week. Helen S. continued to develop and manage event projects, and also joined e.Republic in 2023 as a National Conference Director, focusing on government technology events.
In 2017, Helen briefly worked at Informa as an Event Content Director for Aviation Week global events. Helen S. led event projects from market research to on-site execution.
Helen also has experience in program launch management, having worked as a Program Launch Manager at Visikard, Inc from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, they served as a Program Executive for ASCEND at AIAA from 2021 to 2023, where they had decision-making authority and led the long-term vision for the content platform.
Throughout their career, Helen has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, successfully managing complex projects and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful event experiences.
Helen S. Kang has a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University - Newark. Helen S. also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Georgia State University.
