Emma Shields

Emma Shields is an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with a robust background in promoting independence through various roles since 2005. Emma has held senior positions at the City of Wolverhampton Council and Walsall Council since 2018 and 2016, respectively, while also serving at Care_4_Health since 2014. Prior to these roles, Emma worked as a locum occupational therapist at RIG HEALTHCARE and completed significant work with West Sussex County Council and Birmingham City Council. Emma’s earlier experiences include working for Derbyshire County Council, focusing on adaptations and collaboration with architects. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Occupational Therapy from Coventry University and completed an Access to Paramedics course at Matthew Boulton College.
