Derek Dinsmoor

Derek Dinsmoor is a Data Science Supervisor and Senior Data Scientist at E Source, where responsibilities include forecasting and validating demand response impacts through predictive modeling and developing algorithms to identify electric vehicle charging and HVAC anomalies using advanced metering infrastructure data. Previously, Derek worked as a Senior Consultant at TRC Companies, Inc., focusing on the development of business intelligence dashboards and leading R training programs. Earlier experience as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Guidehouse involved creating impactful analysis tools and evaluating energy program effectiveness. Derek holds a Master of Arts in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same institution.
