Don Rankin

Don Rankin is an experienced manager and consultant in the utility industry, currently serving as the Manager of Technical Consulting at E Source since October 2020, leading a team in the procurement and deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems. Previously, Don held the position of Manager of Water Operations & Analytics at Utility Data Intel, providing consulting services focused on business intelligence and data analytics. Don has also worked as a Senior Consultant at UtiliWorks Consulting and held various leadership roles in the City of Topeka, where responsibilities included overseeing the operation and capital improvements of water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities. Earlier in his career, Don was a Systems Engineer at McDonnell Douglas Corp and served in the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician on nuclear submarines. Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Kansas State University.
