Joe Plummer

Joe Plummer is a Lead Engineer at E Source, driven by a passion for equitable decarbonization and the preservation of natural resources. They have a rich background in clean energy, having previously held roles such as Program Manager II at Franklin Energy Services and Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources. Joe began their engineering career as a Design Engineer at Honeywell from 1999 to 2005 and later served as a Lead Engineer at Opinion Dynamics from 2022 to 2025. Joe is currently pursuing multiple degrees, including Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
