Jwan S.

Jwan S. has a strong background in project controls and corporate controls. They started their career in 2005 as a Cost Controls Professional at Parsons Buildings, Health, and Education Program. In 2006, they joined Jacobs as a Project Controls Professional and held this role for 12 years. Following their tenure at Jacobs, Jwan S. worked as a Senior Project Controls Professional at Gilbane Building Company for two years. In 2020, they became a Lead Scheduler at Vantage Data Centers, where they worked until 2021. Currently, Jwan S. holds the position of Director of Corporate Controls at E2 Optics.

Jwan S. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering from Al-Jami'at Al-Mustansiriyah between 1998 and 2002. In 2019, Jwan enrolled at the University of Colorado and earned an Integrated Construction, Management + Leadership Certificate in Construction Management in 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Jwan obtained the Procore Certification for Project Manager in Resource Management from Procore Technologies in October 2019. In May 2019, Jwan also achieved the Procore Certification for Project Manager in Project Management. Jwan further obtained the Procore Certification for Project Manager in Construction Financials in April 2019 and became a Procore Certified Student in March 2019.

Additionally, Jwan holds a Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification from AACE International, acquired in December 2019. Furthermore, Jwan has obtained several memberships including the Empowered Project Professionals Inner Circle from Project Control Academy in December 2022, EPPIC Membership from Project Control Academy in 2021 and 2021, and attended the Project Control Summit in 2021.
