Lee Gehrke

Lee Gehrke is a professor at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lee is also the Hermann von Helmholtz Professor of Health Sciences and Technology at MIT. Lee has been a professor at Harvard Medical School for 40 years.

Lee Gehrke received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from Eastern Illinois University in 1974. Lee then attended Case Western Reserve University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Developmental Genetics and Anatomy in 1979. From 1980 to 1983, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Alex Rich laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Biology Department.
