Atia Imam

Atia Imam has a diverse work experience in various roles related to language, content, and localization.

From 2006 to the present, they worked as a Gaming Content Lead/Tester for Lionbridge, Gamescribes, Localsoft, Terra, Amber Studio, and other LSP's.

In 2014, Atia became a Freelance Linguistic Consultant, specializing in Linguistic QA and On-Device Beta Testing for web-based software and mobile devices.

In 2015, they served as the Country Director at Octopus Intelligence, a Global Competitive Intelligence Agency.

Starting in 2016, Atia worked as a Linguistic QA Lead at Tumblr and also served as a Linguistic QA Lead at Spredfast from 2018 to 2022. At Spredfast, they specialized in Community/Campaign Moderation on Facebook for the APAC region.

In 2018, Atia also joined Gengo as a Hindi LS (Language Specialist), working directly with Localization Project Managers and content creators to provide localized experiences to global clients.

In 2019, they became a Language Lead at Lilt, and from 2015 to the present, Atia has been a Language and Content Specialist/Copywriter at Chillistore, focusing on a popular jobsite.

Most recently, they started pursuing a Masters in Media and Culture at Hoschule Darmstadt Medien in 2023. Throughout their career, Atia has gained experience in machine learning, data annotation, content creation, translation, language training, and quality assurance.

Atia Imam completed their high school education at St. Joseph from 1990 to 1995. In 1997, they enrolled in Avila Convent - PWC and obtained a degree in Advertising & Communication Management, with no specific field of study mentioned. Atia also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Communication Management from Patna University from 1997 to 2000.
