Yan Gao

Yan Gao has over 8 years of professional experience in research and development. Currently, they are the R&D Operations Manager at E3 Lithium. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Laboratory Technician at E3 Lithium and the Research EIT at Isotopes Canada. From 2013 to 2020, they worked as a Research Engineer at China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC). In this role, they collected, sorted, analyzed and compared current polyethylene products and production process, completed strategic analysis and feasible reports of POE production, gave presentations company-wide, and designed and conducted a series of lab-scale solution polymerization experiments of POE. Additionally, they designed a pilot-scaled solution polymerization process, compared technical parameters of current and required equipment for an existing pilot plant, calculated conversion expenses, and analyzed possibilities of the transformation into a pilot plant of POE products.

Yan Gao has obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University between 2010 and 2012. In 2021, they will begin a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Calgary. Between 2006 and 2010, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Tianjin University between 2007 and 2010. Gao has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Excel 2016: Advanced Formatting Techniques, Excel 2016: Charts in Depth, Excel 2016: Pivot Tables in Depth, Excel Essential Training (Office 365), Word 2019 Essential Training, PowerPoint Essential Training (Office 365), and PowerPoint Tips and Tricks, all obtained in 2020.
