Robin Ellis-Gates, RHIA

Robin Ellis-Gates, RHIA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Robin currently serves as the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development at e4, a leading national healthcare consulting and professional services company. In this role, they focus on providing comprehensive service solutions in areas such as EHR, ERP, Revenue Cycle Management, HIM Coding/CDI, EMPI Remediation, and IT. Robin utilizes LEAN and proprietary engineered software to maximize outcomes and efficiencies.

Prior to their current position, Robin worked as the Area Vice President of Sales for the Southern US and Eastern Canada at Just Associates from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Account Executive at NextGate Solutions from 2017 to 2018. Robin also served as the Business Development Manager for Healthcare Solutions in the Northeast and Southeast regions at ARGO Data Resource Corporation from 2014 to 2016.

Robin has previous experience as a Senior Account Executive at QuadraMed from 1999 to 2014, where they focused on account management. Robin also worked as an Account Manager for the Midwest region at IMNET Systems from 1995 to 1998.

Before entering the software industry, Robin worked as the Marketing Manager at Lanier Worldwide, Inc. from 1992 to 1995. Robin began their career as a Client Services Manager at Gerber Alley from 1990 to 1992.

Robin's earliest work experience was at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta, where they served as the Assistant Director of Health Information Management from 1987 to 1990.

Robin Ellis-Gates, RHIA, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from Indiana University Bloomington. This educational achievement took place from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, Robin completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Highland High School from 1978 to 1982. In addition to their education, Robin Ellis-Gates also holds the certification of Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), which was obtained from the institution AHIMA in September 1986.
