Howard Nurtman

Howard brings over thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry across three separate continents and serves as a Chief Compliance Officer for Agile Fund Solutions, an E78 Partners Company (E78). Howard leads the compliance services team within the Fund Solutions Practice at E78, the leading C-suite consulting firm specializing in serving private funds.

Prior to his role at E78, Howard was the Chief Compliance Officer at DAFNA Capital Management and has also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of the Creo Capital Group of Companies. Howard has also worked in the London offices of Nomura International PLC and Lehman Brothers.

Howard’s expertise has allowed him to anchor and calibrate detailed compliance programs to address the needs of managers in the private funds’ space. His finance and operational experience have contributed to a unique collaborative approach to the E78 compliance offering that is further augmented with the skills of the outsourced CFO team within the Funds Solutions Practice. Furthermore, he brings extensive experience from assisting advisers and clients through the registration process, general communications with regulators, formal regulatory exams as well as mock audits in preparation of such interactions.

Howard also qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa with Arthur Andersen & Co, and remains a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
