Gianpiero Monte

Gianpiero Monte is a seasoned DevOps and Software Test Engineer with extensive experience in testing and validation across multiple companies. Currently employed at E80 Group since July 2022, Gianpiero previously held the position of Senior Integration and Validation Test Engineer at SM-OPTICS, where responsibilities included testing optics devices. Prior to that, at Cisco from July 2007 to February 2020, Gianpiero served as a Senior Software Test Engineer, focusing on system testing and validation for a Network Manager designed for optical transport networks, and enhanced product quality through effective bug tracking and testing processes. Additionally, Gianpiero worked as a Software Test Engineer and Sustaining Software Test Engineer at Cisco, where a new regression test process improved efficiency while maintaining quality. Earlier career experience includes the role of Software Test Consultant at TXT e-solutions for Fastweb's IPTV project. Gianpiero holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo.
