Danielle Powell

Danielle Powell is an experienced marketing and event management professional with a strong background in industry relations and digital marketing. Currently serving as Associate Director of Industry Relations and Event Strategy at EAB since September 2019, Danielle has held various positions within the organization, including Senior Manager and Demand Generation Manager. Prior to EAB, Danielle was a Digital Marketing Specialist at Virginia Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities included creating digital content and managing social media to enhance brand awareness. Danielle also gained experience as an Event Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Richmond, where communication strategies and donor relationships were developed or fostered. Early career experience includes a Sales and Marketing Internship at Cvent, focusing on social media project implementation, and a Camp Counselor role at ACAC Fitness & Wellness Center, enhancing crisis management and organization skills. Danielle holds a BA in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and a BS in Human Development from Virginia Tech.
