Davis Cousar is an experienced research professional with a background in both education and public policy. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Research at EAB since March 2022, Davis previously held various research roles, including at the American Institutes for Research where responsibilities included supporting projects with NAEP data and collaborating with State Departments of Education. Additional experience includes internships at McGuireWoods Consulting, the Executive Office of the President, and the United Nations, among others. Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs and Economics from Furman University and has engaged in significant research and cultural studies during time spent in Europe and Asia, including an internship with APEC and participation in the Millennium Fellow program.
