Cyrus Kiprop

Cyrus Kiprop began their work experience as a Software Developer Intern at Maseno University in 2015. Cyrus conducted surveys and analyzed data to improve the student portal. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at KICJ where they delivered networking lessons and assisted with CCTV installations. Cyrus then became a Freelancer at Upwork in 2018, specializing in MERN Stack Web Development. At Upwork, they provided feedback on UI features, developed client-based applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, and Redux, and practiced pair-based programming. In 2020, they became a Student Mentor at Microverse, providing support and guidance to students. In 2021, they joined Earthster as a Full-stack Developer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Eagle Alpha.

Cyrus Kiprop completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Maseno University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2019 and 2020, Cyrus attended Microverse, where they obtained a Remote Full-stack Developer certification, specializing in Ruby, Rails, and React. In addition to their degree and certification, they also earned several additional certifications from Microverse, including Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS, Javascript Module, Ruby on Rails Module, and Ruby/Databases.
