Heather Raney

Heather Raney has a diverse range of work experience in the apparel industry. Heather most recently worked as a Product Line Manager at Eagle Creek starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager and Fit & Technical Designer at Sport Obermeyer from 2018 to 2022. In these roles, they were responsible for interpreting new designs, managing measurements and samples, and maintaining size consistency. Heather also worked as an Apparel & Accessory Development Associate at PEARL iZUMi in 2018, an Assistant Buyer at Sierra Trading Post in 2017-2018, and an Apparel Sales Associate at Jax Mercantile Co. from 2011 to 2017. Heather gained internship experience at Patagonia and Smartwool in 2016 and 2015 respectively. Lastly, Heather worked as a Visual Merchandiser at Colorado State University in 2014.

Heather Raney earned their Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design and Production from Colorado State University from 2013 to 2016. Heather was also recognized for their academic achievements by being included on the Dean's List during their time at the university. Additionally, Heather obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2019, they completed the AIARE 1 Avalanche Course offered by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). The following year, in 2020, they successfully completed the "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" course, which was provided by the University of Michigan. Most recently, in 2022, Heather completed the Avalanche Rescue Course offered by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). Heather also acquired expertise in the EFI Optitex PDS 2D software through a certification program from EFI | Optitex - 3D Virtual Prototyping, 2D CAD/CAM Software Solutions in 2019.
