Alex Poor

Alex Poor is a Senior Counsel at Eagle Materials, serving since May 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Legal Counsel - M&A at Ericsson from May 2020 to May 2022 and Corporate Associate positions at Kirkland & Ellis and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where responsibilities focused on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex business transactions. Earlier roles include internships and clerkships at various law firms. Alex Poor holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting and Finance from Trinity University.
