Matt Couture

Matt Couture has extensive experience in maintenance and operations within the mining and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor at Eagle Mine since August 2015, Matt has demonstrated skills in various maintenance tasks, including the repair of pumps, conveyors, and piping systems, along with overseeing a maintenance team. Prior roles at Eagle Mine also included Maintenance Technician and Mill Operator, where responsibilities encompassed operating machinery and providing safety support as a state licensed EMT. Previously, Matt worked at Cliffs Natural Resources as an Assistant Plant Operator/Working Coordinator, focusing on machine operations and troubleshooting. Earlier career experience includes Project Manager/CAD Designer at U.P. Fabricating Co. Inc., managing structural steel projects, and CAD Technician at Moran Iron Works. Matt holds degrees in CAD Design from Bay de Noc Community College and TBAISD - Traverse City Career Tech Center.
