Andrew Sims has worked in the technology industry since 2007. Andrew began their career as a Computer Specialist at Best Buy in 2007. In 2010, they took on an Under Graduate Assistant and LAN TEAM roles at Southern Illinois University. In 2012, they became a Client Support Technician at Information Technologies Incorperated, where they were responsible for troubleshooting client issues, basic management of client's SQL Databases, configuring client servers, and creating SQL reports. In 2013, they joined TKC Global as a Systems Engineer and worked on the ADX Migration Project, performing mailbox migration procedures on users across 7 different Air Force Bases. In 2014, they took on roles as a Systems Engineer Level 4 and Systems Administrator Level 3 at Eagle TG, LLC and TEK Systems, respectively.

Andrew Sims earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems Technologies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale between 2008 and 2012. Andrew then obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2012 certification from Microsoft in June 2013. In March 2016, they received a CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA. Lastly, they obtained an Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2018.
